Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Fellowships

Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is the leading research funding agency in Japan, established by the Japanese Government for the purpose of contributing to the advancement of science. Their Postdoctoral Fellowship for Foreign Researchers (Long Term) and Invitation Fellowships (Short Term) provide the opportunity for postdoctoral or more experienced researchers based outside of Japan to conduct collaborative research activities with leading research groups at Japanese universities and research institutions.

The postdoctoral fellowship will support a visit of between 12 to 24 months and the invitation fellowship will support a visit of between 14 to 60 days. Eligible research fields are not limited.
