Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are prestigious international masters, jointly designed and delivered by a group of higher education institutions.

They involve at least 3 institutions from at least 3 different countries, and multiple associated partners from the academic and non-academic world.

Typically, they include periods of study, research, traineeship, thesis preparation and defence.

Students from all over the world are encouraged to apply!

How to Apply

Students should consult the online EMJMD Catalogue to identify the master’s programme aligning with their academic preferences. The catalogue provides detailed information about courses, application requirements, and eligibility.

Most Erasmus Mundus Master Programmes will require applications to be submitted between October and January, for courses starting the following academic year.

At the time of application, students need to have a bachelor’s degree or be enrolled in the last year of bachelor studies.

How to get a scholarship

To receive financial support, you must first be admitted onto the course by the organising consortium and then be selected for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.

Full scholarships are available only for the best-ranked students.

The Erasmus Mundus scholarship includes:

  • A monthly allowance throughout the entire master’s program duration, including installation costs.
  • Covered tuition fees.
  • Funding for travel.
  • Insurance coverage.
