The Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, is inviting applications for a doctoral study position with employment in the field of advanced materials for electronics. The research will focus on exploring materials with unique electrical, magnetic, thermal, and mechanical properties, including their behavior at the micro and nanoscale.
The candidate will work in the Atomic Microscopy Laboratory, using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to study bulk and nanostructured materials. The research is supervised by Prof. Dr. Hana Uršič Nemevšek, Head of the Electronic Ceramics Department, in collaboration with domestic and international partners.
Requirements:
- Completed or nearly completed master’s degree in natural sciences or engineering
- Interest in experimental research
- No prior research experience required – training will be provided
