Chinese Language and AI Robot Summer Scholarship 2025 at HUST

The School of Mechanical Science & Engineering (MSE) at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) has officially opened applications for the 2025 Chinese Language + AI Robot Summer School. This program offers an immersive learning experience for international students, combining Chinese language and culture with cutting-edge insights into artificial intelligence and robotics.

Program Highlights

Building on its 2024 success, which welcomed 79 students from renowned universities worldwide, the 2025 edition is set to integrate traditional Chinese culture with advanced AI and robotics training. Students will participate in academic lectures, hands-on innovation training, enterprise visits, and cultural excursions designed to broaden their technical and cultural perspectives.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport
  • Current full-time undergraduate students in engineering or related fields, such as:
    • Mechanical engineering, electronic information engineering, computer science, civil engineering, materials science, etc.

An invitation letter and visa application instructions will follow the selection process.

Program Fees & Scholarship Opportunity

  • Tuition Fee: 5000 CNY (covers lectures, training, and visits)
  • Accommodation: 700 CNY for a four-week stay (double-room)
  • Living expenses and travel costs are not included.

However, HUST offers eligible candidates a full scholarship sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and this scholarship covers:
