Project Green Challenge (PGC) educates, empowers, and mobilizes high school, college, and graduate students on climate action, environmental and social justice, public health, and advocacy. This powerful and diverse call to action features 30 days of eco-themed challenges that transform lives, shift mindsets, harness ideas, and equip students with skills, knowledge, resources and mentorship to lead change on campus and in communities. Through individual and collective action, systems thinking, behavior change, and informed consumption, PGC participants are challenged to envision and work toward a healthy, just, resilient future. 

PGC runs from October 1 until October 30. Every day, a unique challenge is unveiled at 8AM. Each challenge is live for 24 hours, inviting participants to complete actions and upload content to acquire points. Deliverables include photos, videos, creative and written pieces that are uploaded on the PGC site, as well as shared across social platforms.

ŠTA TE OČEKUJE? 

• Upoznaćeš profesionalce koji se bave održivošću. Tokom oktobra, kroz onlajn susrete razgovaraćeš sa stručnjacima i saznaćeš u kojim profesijama, oblastima i industrijama je održivost prisutna i kako može da se poveže sa različitim profesionalnim putevima. Radićeš na konkretnom poslovnom problemu. U novembru program prelazi iz razgovora u praksu. Radićeš u timu na Sustainability Izazovu, rešavajući konkretan poslovni problem uz podršku mentora iz poslovnog sektora. Imaćeš priliku da iskusiš kako izgleda rad na problemu sa kojim se kompanije zaista susreću. 
• Steći ćeš iskustvo i profesionalne kontakte. Kroz rad sa stručnjacima i mentorima imaćeš priliku da primeniš svoja znanja i veštine, upoznaš ljude iz poslovnog sektora i istražiš različite profesionalne puteve u održivom poslovanju. 
• Bićeš deo poslovnog događaja posvećenog održivom poslovanju. Finale programa biće održano 3. decembra na CSR & ESG Forumu 2026, gde ćeš sa svojim timom predstaviti rezultate rada na Sustainability Izazovu.

Students are invited to take part in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Internet of Things (IoT) and 3D Printing” hosted by the University of Novi Sad, in collaboration with the University of Porto (and partner institutions within EUGLOH 2.0).

The programme is designed for Bachelor and Master students who are beginners in IoT and connected devices, and who have basic computer and/or programming skills. Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive 3 ECTS.

Programme format and dates

• Virtual part: 13 April – 15 May 2026
• Physical part (Novi Sad, Serbia): 18 – 22 May 2026

Topics

The BIP introduces core concepts and hands-on practice in:

• Arduino and ESP32 microcontrollers
• networking and IoT services (incl. cloud components)
• data collection and basic analysis
• 3D design and 3D printing for prototyping IoT devices

How to apply

Applications are processed through students’ home institutions (Erasmus+ KA131 BIP short-term mobility grant). The home institution nominates candidates to the organisers at UNS.

• Required nomination documents: CV, transcript of records, short motivation letter (incl. level of programming/computer skills), proof of English proficiency

Selected participants are expected to bring a laptop capable of running Arduino IDE.

Practical information

The University of Novi Sad will provide one meal (lunch) during the physical part, as well as study materials, equipment use and costs related to the cultural programme, including a welcome dinner. Travel and accommodation are covered by participants from their Erasmus+ grant.

On Friday, 12 December, the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad (PMF) hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Shandong Institute of Metrology (China).

The meeting focused on the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of metrology and testing, with discussions covering the following key topics:

• gaining deeper insight into measurement policies, regulatory requirements, background and testing procedures for the formulation of measurement standards, as well as management experience in this area
• exchanging experience related to the construction and management of measurement laboratories
• discussing cutting-edge technologies and development trends in the inspection and testing industry

The visit contributed to strengthening international cooperation and fostering the exchange of expertise between institutions working in related scientific and applied research fields.

Danas je u Klubu nastavnika DF/DMI održan deveti po redu Lunchtime Talk u organizaciji Kancelarije za međunarodnu saradnju PMF-a, pod nazivom „Klima i život u harmoniji: biometeorologija u službi života na Zemlji“.

Predavači Stevan Savić, Jelena Dunjić i Milica Vasić sa Departmana za geografiju, turizam i hotelijerstvo predstavili su kako su njihovi projekti, terenska istraživanja i međunarodne saradnje doprineli pozicioniranju Univerziteta u Novom Sadu na globalnoj mapi biometeorologije. U okviru izlaganja predstavljeni su inovativni rezultati i kratki prikaz istraživačkog puta koji je doveo do toga da PMF i Novi Sad 2026. godine budu domaćini 24. Međunarodnog kongresa biometeorologije (ICB2026).

Učesnici su imali priliku da čuju više o radu Novi Sad Urban Climate Lab-a, uključujući primere dobre prakse u urbanoj klimatologiji, biometeorologiji i interdisciplinarnim pristupima u istraživanju klimatskih uticaja na životnu sredinu i ljude.

Nakon inspirativnih predavanja usledila je diskusija, gde su prisutni postavljali pitanja i razmenili iskustva sa predavačima, uz kratko neformalno druženje.

Zahvaljujemo se kolegama na odličnom predavanju i svim učesnicima na prisustvu.

Kolege iz Kancelarije za međunarodnu saradnju (IRO) 09.12.2025. su se odazvale akciji dobrovoljnog davanja krvi i dale svoj doprinos jednoj od najvažnijih humanitarnih inicijativa.

Dobrovoljno davanje krvi je mali čin velike humanosti koji može napraviti ogromnu razliku. Ponosni smo na naše kolege koje su još jednom pokazale odgovornost, empatiju i brigu za druge.

Zahvaljujemo se svima koji su učestvovali i pozivamo i druge koleginice i kolege da, u skladu sa mogućnostima, prate buduće akcije i pridruže se ovom humanom poduhvatu.

Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) invites students from partner institutions to join the International Summer Semester 2026 in Seoul, South Korea – a four-week programme that combines academic courses with cultural activities.
