SONATA Summer School

From Soil to Landscape: Integrating Biodiversity, Spatial Science and Policy for Sustainable Land Use

SONATA Summer School – From Soil to Landscape brings together soil science, biodiversity, spatial modeling and policy to support sustainable land-use decisions.
Using Vojvodina as a living laboratory, participants combine soil and microbiome data, habitat mapping, GIS tools, and stakeholder insights to co-create Nature-Based Solutions and spatial guidelines. The program links science, practice, and policy within the EU Soil Mission, biodiversity, and climate action context.

Format

Lectures, hands-on practicals, group work, excursions, co-creation workshops, and round tables with scientists, policymakers, and financial actors. All activities will be held in English.

Who should apply?

The Summer School is open to Master’s and PhD students, early-career researchers, and practitioners with an interest in soil, biodiversity, landscape planning, or sustainability transitions.

Oglas za kandidata za jedno radno mesto u Kancelariji za međunarodnu saradnju Prirodno-matematičkog fakulteta:

Službenik za međunarodnu saradnju na određeno vreme od 12 meseci (probni rad od 6 meseci)

USLOVI:

  • Stečeno visoko obrazovanje na osnovnim akademskim studijama u obimu od najmanje 240 ESPB, odnosno specijalističkim strukovnim studijama po propisu koji uređuje visoko obrazovanje počev od 10.09.2025. godine;
  • Stečeno visoko akademsko zvanje na osnovnim studijama u trajanju od najmanje 4 godine po propisu koji je uređivao visoko obrazovanje do 10.09.2005. godine;
  • Znanje engleskog jezika na naprednom nivou: B2, poželjno C1 ili C2 (prema zajedničkom evropskom referentnom okviru za jezike – CEFR)
  • Napredno poznavanje rada na računaru (Mikrosoft paket, napredna pretraga interneta, programi za editovanje fotografija i kreiranje vizuelnih sadržaja)

PREDNOSTI:

  • Prethodno radno iskustvo u visokom obrazovanju;
  • Iskustvo u planiranju, pisanju i sporvođenju projekata Evropske unije ili drugih međunarodnih i nacionalnih projekata (u biografiji navesti ključne projekte i ulogu u njima);
  • Razvijene komunikacione i interpersonalne veštine;
  • Sistematičnost, odgovornost i pouzdanost.

Transformation Summer Camp 2026 – Eichstätt

In September 2026, the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, KU) organizes a transformation summer camp on the topic “Participatory Research & Citizen Science”.

The Transformation Summer Camp 2026 addresses current issues at the intersection of participatory research, transformative science, and citizen science. We firmly believe that the sustainable development of our societies is only possible if we involve citizens and stakeholders from politics, local government, business, education, and civil society more closely in science and research.

We are inviting graduate students (those who are completing their Master’s degree at the moment or have already completed it) to apply with their ideas and become part of the one-week research camp at our University.

Full scholarships are available (covering travel, accommodation and meals) for those who are accepted.

PhD Positions at the Medical University of Graz (Austria)

The Medical University of Graz invites applications for PhD positions starting on October 1, 2026, within several research areas including cancer research, immunology, TRP ion channel pathophysiology, computational modeling, metabolism, and cardiovascular research.

Positions are available in three PhD programs:

  • Molecular Medicine – interdisciplinary biomedical research connecting basic, preclinical, and clinical science.
  • Translational Immunology and Metabolism in Oncology (TIMO) – a cancer-focused program exploring cancer metabolism and anti-tumor immunity.
  • TRP-dependent Cation Signaling (TRPC.at) – research on the role of TRP ion channels in lung, heart, and brain diseases.

PhD candidates will receive a 3-year employment contract (with possible extension), competitive salary, and social benefits, and will work in an international research environment at one of Europe’s leading medical universities.

Worldchefs Congress 2026 – Erasmus+ KA1 Opportunity for Students

As part of Worldchefs Congress 2026 (Wales, May 2026), Worldchefs is preparing a structured international learning programme aligned with Erasmus+ KA1 mobility for VET and Higher Education institutions.

Institutions that already manage or plan to apply for Erasmus+ KA1 funding in 2026 can involve their students in this programme.

Worldchefs will provide:

  • a formal learning programme aligned with Erasmus+ objectives
  • an official hosting letter and activity description (PDF)
  • supervision and a certificate of participation

Erasmus+ KA1 funding may cover student travel and subsistence costs, in line with National Agency rules.

Radionica za pripremu i pisanje HORIZON EUROPE Twinning projekata

U petak 6.2.2026. u klubu nastavnika se održala celodnevna radionica za pripremu i pisanje projekata za predstojeći Twinning poziv u organizaciji kancelarije za međunarodnu saradnju Prirodno-matematičkog fakulteta.

Dvadeset učesnika i učesnica iz istraživačkih grupa sa departmana za Geografiju, turizam i hotelijerstvo, Biologiju i ekologiju, Matematiku i informatiku, je prošlo kroz osnovne i napredne delove pripreme Twininga, njegova pravila i specifičnosti kao i osnovne gradivne jedinice – excellence, impact i implementation.

U prvom delu obuke Gordana Vlahović je predstavila ideju Twinninga i kako ga “čitati između redova”.

Profesorica Basarin je predstavila primer dobro napisane excellence sekcije i podelila preporuke za predlog projekta koji se posebno ističu. Profesorica Kerkez je u drugom delu predstavila Impact kao sekciju projekta i njegov naučni, ekonomsko/tehnološki, društveni uticaj kao i aktivnosti komunikacije, eksploatacije i diseminacije rezultata projekta. U trećem delu obuke, Profesorcia Maletić je opisala Implementaciju kroz opis radnih paketa, deliverabli i analizu rizika.

Radionica je protekla u otvorenoj i radnoj atmosferi, uz aktivno učešće svih učesnika. Konkretni primeri i jasno objašnjeni koraci u pripremi Twinning projekata pomogli da se poziv sagleda realnije i sigurnije. Kancelarija za međunarodnu saradnju PMF-a nastavlja da stoji na raspolaganju istraživačima – kako u razradi projektnih ideja, tako i u administrativnoj i organizacionoj podršci tokom pripreme projektnih prijava.
