ungkyunkwan University’s International Summer Semester (ISS) offers an enriching academic experience set against the vibrant backdrop of Seoul, Korea’s 600-year-old capital. Designed to inspire true global engagement, the ISS invites students to explore diverse perspectives on today’s most pressing global issues, build meaningful connections with peers from around the world, and experience Korea’s dynamic history, culture, and society first-hand.

COURSES
Students can take 1~3 courses.
Each course is worth 3 credits, except for Korean Language Courses, which are worth 2 credits.
The language of instruction is English.

Program Details
Dates: July 27 – August 21, 2026 (4 weeks following the conclusion of ISS classes)
Location: On-campus of Seoul or Suwon, South Korea
Eligibility: ISS 2026 enrolled students only (with the Research Internship ISS3320)
Fee: A one-month dormitory fee may apply
