Univerzitet u Novom Sadu je objavio ERASMUS+ konkurs za stipendiranu mobilnost studenata na Jagelonskom univerzitetu za bionauke u Krakovu.
Konkurs je otvoren za studente PMF-a na svim nivoima studija u svim akademskim oblastima.
Broj stipendija: 1
Trajanje stipendija: 5 meseci
Realizacija mobilnosti: drugi semestar 2020/2021
Trajanje konkursa: 6. oktobar – 2. novembar 2020.

Univerzitet u Novom Sadu raspisao je jedinstveni Javni poziv za prijavu kandidata za Erazmus+ odlaznu mobilnost sa Univerziteta u Novom Sadu prema Erazmus+ programskim zemljama.

Krajnji rok za podnošenje prijava je sreda, 28. oktobar u 23:59 časova. Neblagovremene, nepotpune i nedozvoljene prijave neće biti uzete u razmatranje!
Za podršku tokom procesa prijavljivanja možete se obratiti vašem departmanskom akademskom koordinatoru, kao i Kancelariji za međunarodnu saradnju PMF-a (kancelarija 6 u prizemlju “plave zgrade”). [DF]Ph.D. Position in Photonics for Externally Controllable Molecular Communications at the University of Cyprus
The KIOS Center of Excellence and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cyprus (UCY), announce one vacancy for a full-time Ph.D. position (under the Special Scientist category), funded under the European Horizon 2020 project “GLADIATOR – Next-generation theranostics of brain pathologies with autonomous externally controllable nanonetworks: a trans-disciplinary approach with bio-nanodevice interfaces”.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The aim of this Ph.D. position is to develop brain micro-implants that incorporate optoelectronics for fluorescence detection, within the framework of the GLADIATOR FET-OPEN project. GLADIATOR targets the creation of a theranostic (therapeutic + diagnostic) system for the diagnosis and treatment of brain cancer, consisting of a headwearable patch for power transfer and communication with a multimodal (RF, photonic and ultrasound) microimplant. GLADIATOR will produce a working prototype of a complete, autonomous, clinically-applicable, nanonetwork-based molecular communications system based on externally controllable molecular communications (ECMC). That is, through breakthroughs in both cell biology and RF and photonic devices, the system will both monitor and treat brain tumors. The system will consist of a hybrid bio-electronic interface with coupled external and implantable devices, which will establish communication channels with host-derived fluorescent reporter cells via micro-optoelectronic sensors. The cellular, sub-cellular and electronic components
will be integrated into a wireless ECMC system residing on the patient’s brain. The system will autonomously monitor the spatiotemporal tumor evolution and recurrence, and will generate on demand appropriate reprogramming interventions by stimulating the engineered stem cells.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline (ideally with a specialization in optoelectronics, photonics or microelectronics)
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Experience of one or more of the following would be considered highly desirable: photonic devices, nanooptics, semiconductor devices, microelectronics, and molecular communications.
- Excellent organization, time management, collaboration and communication skills.

Onlajn prezentacije DAAD stipendija za školsku 2021/2022. godinu
DAAD Informativni centar Beograd će u narednom periodu organizovati onlajn prezentacije koje imaju za cilj da svim zainteresovanima približe ovogodišnji program DAAD stipendija i pruže detaljnije informacije o tome koji sve programi stipendija postoje, koje su njihove specifičnosti kao i informacije o pronalaženju adekvatnog master ili doktorskog programa.

Opportunity for internship at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand
The Faculty of Science, PSU is pleased to offer the opportunity for an internship to Master of Science students.
Interested students are invited to PSU Hat Yai campus to take part in one of the various research areas. They will conduct hands-on research under the supervision of our enthusiastic and experienced researchers.
To support and welcome the interns, the faculty provides free accommodation and facilities. The program is not only designed to enhance scientific knowledge and skills during lab work but also to have cultural exchange with Thai students during a trip to the ancient coastal town Songkhla. The application period ends by 15 October 2020.

6 PhD Student Scholarships at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence of the University of Cyprus
The KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence (KIOS CoE) announces 6 full-time PhD Student Scholarships. The KIOS CoE operates within the University of Cyprus, in collaboration with Imperial College London.
The selected students will be enrolled in either the Electrical Engineering or the Computer Engineering PhD program of the University of Cyprus and they will conduct their research at the facilities of the KIOS Center of Excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s or Master’s in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering) or Computer Science or Mathematics or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Previous research experience will be considered an advantage.
Scholarship Terms:
The scholarship will be for one year and may be renewed annually, based on performance, for 3-5 years. It includes the University tuition fees and a monthly salary between €1000-€1700 depending on the candidate’s qualifications and expertise. The 13th salary bonus is incorporated in the monthly salary. Maternity leave will be granted based on Social Insurance Laws from 1980 until 2012.
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to conduct fundamental or applied research in the areas of Information and Communication Technologies with an emphasis on the Monitoring, Control and Security of Critical Infrastructure Systems.

Supported Internship for Master students in seaweed and seagrass research
In order to support the seaweed and seagrass research project of the Centre of Excellence for Biodiversity of Peninsula Thailand (CBIPT) held by the Faculty of Science, PSU, interested graduate students with experience in seagrass and seaweed research are invited to take part in the mentioned research by absolving an internship.
To support and welcome the interns, the faculty provides free accommodation and facilities. The students will conduct hands-on research under the supervision of their enthusiastic and experienced researchers.
The program is not only designed to enhance scientific knowledge and skills during lab work but also provides unique field trips.
