Summer internship opportunity for biology students – Aeolian Archipelago, Italy
Filicudi WildLife Conservation is a non-profit association involved in the research and conservation of cetacean species (bottlenose dolphin, striped dolphin and sperm whale) and the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) in the Aeolian Archipelago (Southern Thyrrenian Sea, Italy). Filicudi WildLife Conservation also manages a First Aid for Sea Turtles (Turtle Point Filicudi) located in Filicudi island. During summer Filicudi WildLife Conservation organizes research camps for students and volunteers to participate at the monitoring sessions for different research projects on cetaceans and sea turtles. In addition, in this period, naturalistic excursion, snorkeling and educational activities are performed with the tourists in the area. In the Turtle Point, an educational area is also open to the public in order to provide information on the marine biology and nature of the islands.

Internship program at the Blue World Institute, Croatia
Blue World Institute of Marine Research and Conservation is a non – profit organization dedicated to research and conservation of large marine vertebrates (mostly Cetaceans, sea turtles and cartilaginous fish). Their aim is to research population ecology, genetics, acoustics and habitats of bottlenose dolphins and other Cetacean species of the Adriatic sea.

BAYHOST PROGRAM STIPENDIRANJA ZA PHD I MASTER STUDIJE NA BAVARSKIM UNIVERZITETIMA
The Free State of Bavaria invites applications for its one-year scholarship program for students from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe for the academic year 2016/17 via BAYHOST.
Graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine are eligible to apply.
The scholarships are meant to finance doctoral or postgraduate studies (e.g. Master) at Bavarian universities.
One-year study sojourns in Bavaria as part of a Ph.D. in the home country can also be funded.
Annual scholarships can be extended twice for up to 3 years.
